What is Laughter Yoga? Everyone wants health and happiness in their lives. But instead they're stressed out, depressed, getting less sleep, more negative thoughts, and feeling isolated. This practice is sweeping the world as a physical and mental refresher through a new type of exercise that stresses both without overtaxing either. 

Larissa was introduced to Laughter Yoga in 2018 and became a Certified Leader and in January 2023 was trained  by creator and founder, Dr. Madan Kataria in Nashik, India. This means that in addition to leading sessions, she can train people to become instructors.  She provides in-person and virtual workshops for groups of all sizes—whether for team building or for wellness. Laughter is one element of how she edutains groups of all ages and sizes.

Pi in Pi is my play on words! It is a Pi-lates inspired workout in Pi, or 3.14 songs. So in just 3 songs, you can work muscles you forgot existed!

What kind of movement? Since Larissa was old enough to walk, she has been dancing! When she hears music, she sees movement—whether it be a squat or a plié. She has trained in all forms of dance including ballet, hip hop, jazz, lyrical, modern, and tap.

Larissa has been an AFAA certified Aerobics Instructor since 1998. Currently, Larissa holds certifications and licenses to teach  Balletone, Barre Above, BOOTCAMP, Les Mills Body Pump, Pop Pilates, Trigger Point, Zumba, and Water Aerobics.

Play

What do you mean by play? Play is not a four letter word - it is something that we should be incorporating into everything we do. From the satisfaction of breaking a sweat to the surprise of imagination, play teaches us to be human. In fact, societies depend on our ability to “play well together.” Through play, we not only discover the joy of physical activity but reinforce the social and emotional skills needed in the workplace, and in life.
