What is Rissy's Room?

My mom got my name Larissa from the book Doctor Zhivago - which sealed my fate and my love of books.

I love reading - especially kid's books. They're so entertaining and exciting! So I wanted to share my love of reading with others. I created Rissy’s Room as an opportunity for me to read to kids across the world.

When COVID-19 happened, it seemed to be the ideal time to launch Rissy’s Room. And because I absolutely love the outdoors, I decided to film Rissy’s Room outside. 

I want to show that, like books, rooms can be anywhere and our imagination is limitless. Also, I like to hear the birds when I am reading!
